FOOD & DRINK
Bring your own food and drink if you like or pick some of both up in one or more of our wonderful downtown restaurants, eateries, and purveyors of beverages, located just steps away, including our 2019 concert sponsors: Burritos, Yardley Ice House, Vault Brewing Co., CHARCOAL, Canal St. Grille, Yardley General, Cramer’s Bakery, and Pretty Bird Coffee.
Music on Main is first-come, first-seated, and there is plenty of room for all. Just show up with your chairs or blankets, set them up and enjoy. We also have a couple dozen colorful chairs and tables in Yardley's downtown public seating area (Buttonwood Plaza) right next to the concerts, but they fill up fast!
KEEP OUR DOWNTOWN CLEAN
Music on Main is a "Carry In, Carry Out" event: We ask that after enjoying the free music you clean up any trash in your area and either take it home or put it in our trashcans. Don't worry about sidewalk chalk drawings, though, the next rain will take care of that! Also: In order to keep Music on Main enjoyable and healthy for both attendees and our performers, we ask that folks leave the performance and audience area if they wish to smoke - Thanks!
WANT A TEXT ALERT FOR WEATHER POSTPONEMENTS?
If you text the word "musicyardley" to 84483 you will be registered for weather-related updates (postponements) of all of our scheduled performances moving forward through RainedOut.net. Hopefully we won't need it too often, but we wanted to provide that option moving forward to make things clear for our attendees.
If you are driving into town, we recommend parking in the Keller-Williams and Borough Hall lots off of Canal/S. Main Streets, the spaces on Canal St. next to E. College, the spaces on-street on W. College or the spaces on-street at Penn Valley and W. Afton. Here is the Parking Map.
Even better is to walk, bike, or train into town, and we encourage ride-sharing!
Have 30-60 minutes on a Saturday to help out?
We can use a few people to help with setup (5:00pm), managing the break (7:00pm), and breakdown (8:00pm). Click HERE to sign up - volunteer for 4 things and get a Music on Main t-shirt! Also, if you want to help out by taking cool photos and/or in-show videos, please let us know with an email! (We’d like to make some short promo videos to get more funding for our awesome musicians!)
We couldn’t make Music on Main possible without the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts & Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance awarding our 4th grant to support the performances, Visit Bucks County for awarding our first grant, and the following awesome independent local business in Yardley, Pennsylvania for taking care of the rest: Yardley Ice House, Yardley General, Burritos Yardley, FIREHOUSE CYCLES, Touchstone Art Gallery, T. Foster and Company, The Pink Daisy, Pretty Bird Coffee, Vault Brewing Co., CHARCOAL, and Cramer’s Bakery.
